Ian Barlow FCCA

Born and educated in Norwich, I joined Sexty & Co in 1991 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1998. I have experience in providing services to many sectors, including owner managed businesses, charities and not-for-profit entities, solicitors and FSA regulated clients. My aim is to provide a high level of service across a range of audit, accountancy, taxation, business planning and advisory matters to help my clients reach better business decisions towards achieving their objectives. Away from work I enjoy spending time with my family.

David Curtis CTA ATT

I trained with Robson Rhodes, a top ten practice in Cambridge before moving to Norwich in 1998. I am a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor with a wide experience in all taxes. As the firm’s Tax Partner I deal with many of the technical tax queries that arise as well as providing bespoke advice for our established client base.

My particular areas of specialism include enquiry and investigation work, inheritance tax, trust and capital gains tax planning, remuneration planning and tax matters within the construction industry.

Away from the office I enjoy playing golf, travelling and following the Canaries.

Andrew Orves ACCA ACA

I was born and educated in Lowestoft and I currently live in Beccles.  After leaving university I worked in retail management before moving into the insurance/financial services sector.  I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 and joined Sexty & Co in 2005.  My experience ranges from large limited companies to sole traders and partnerships and my clients cover sectors such as retail, manufacturing, building, construction and entertainment.  Away from work I enjoy spending time with my children.  I am a keen sportsman; in particular I enjoy playing golf and football.

Chris Peck FCCA FCA

I qualified in 1968 with a local firm and subsequently worked for Peat Marwick Mitchell alongside Trevor Whitworth, before leaving to establish and manage the Norwich office of another practice. I joined Sexty & Co as a partner in 1985. My clients are owner/managed businesses across sectors ranging from farming to media. Away from the office my interests include films, theatre, the media, music, football, architecture, travel and modern history.

David Yapp FCCA ACA

I joined Sexty & Co in 1998 as the manager of the North Walsham office and was invited to join the partnership in 2000. I have worked in the profession for many years and moved to Norfolk in 1982 having trained and qualified with a national firm in Wales. My principal interest outside work is sailing on the Broads but also enjoy walking, music and gardening.

Trevor Whitworth FCCA

I was born in Norwich and educated at the City of Norwich School. I qualified in 1970 and was a manager at Peat Marwick Mitchell until 1981 when I joined Sexty & Co. I have experience ranging from quoted companies to small retailers, and particularly enjoy the building, construction and manufacturing industries. Hobbies include gardening, bowling and local history.
